College Counseling
Our Comprehensive Program is focused on guiding students and families through the entire college search, application, and selection process.
We work to help students fully understand themselves as learners and how they can be best served by different types of colleges and universities.
While we traditionally begin working with students during their sophomore or junior years of high school we also reserve a number of counseling seats for seniors in need of college admissions counseling.
We support a number of Transfer Applicants during every admissions cycle as well.
SAT & ACT Test Preparation
We prepare students for both standardized testa throughout the year. We primarily focus on 1-on-1 test prep with a goal of identifying strengths and weaknesses and teaching students strategies to reach their full potential.
Curriculum Tutoring and Study Skills
When possible, we offer curriculum tutoring across a range of academic subjects. We also specializer in teaching students study skills, time management, and short-term planning to reach long-term goals.
Essay Writing
Our process helps students develop a a piece of writing that they are proud of and that they feel shares a unique aspect of who they are. We spend a significant amount of time considering both content and style.
Application Completion
We support students as they consider everything from how to describe an extracurricular activity to is it necessary to include an additional information statement.
Student-Athlete Recruitment
Far too many student-athletes have gotten caught in a Reactive Recruitment Process. We help athletes better understand themselves as both players and scholars and where they are best suited to continue their academic and athletic careers.
Mock Interviewing and Resume Writing
We teach students how to feel comfortable when sitting for a college interview, how to draft questions for the interviewer and how to draft a resume the highlights personal accomplishments
Academic Assessment
We conduct full assessments of each one of our students. With our thorough understanding of high school transcripts and academic offerings we examine rigor of curriculum, grades in core courses, areas of strength and interest with the goal of helping students see what admissions offices see.
There is a clear difference between graduation requirements and admissions requirements and we make sure our students and families understand how these differences impact them.
PSAT, SAT, and ACT Evaluations
We offer free PSAT evaluations for all students with the goal of explaining question types and interpreting scores
Our Director of Tutoring offers in-depth analyses of all SAT and ACT scores for our students.
